MANCHESTER, NH – The Manchester Monarchs, the primary affiliate of the 2012 Stanley Cup Champion Los Angeles Kings, in partnership with the Portland Pirates and VIP Parts, Tires & Service, are pleased to announce the fan voting for the VIP Cup Logo Design Contest is now open to fans, Monarchs President Darren Abbott announced on Friday.  The Monarchs and Pirates will battle for the inaugural VIP Cup throughout the 2012-13 season.

The Monarchs and Pirates received many logo design submissions and have narrowed down to entries to the top five finalists:  Raymond Dudley, Emma Jennings, Lauren Miller, Katherine Schoenweiss and Andrew Stanley.  For having their logos in the top five, each finalist has won four tickets to a VIP Cup Game of their choice in either Portland or Manchester during the 2012-2013 season.

Fans can now vote for their favorite logo design by clicking here.  Fans can submit their vote for their favorite logo design once each day.  Each vote will automatically enter them into a daily drawing for a pair of tickets to a VIP Cup game.

The Grand Prize winner of the VIP Cup Logo Design Contest will receive four (4) tickets to every VIP Cup game in both Manchester and Portland, the opportunity to drop a ceremonial first puck at a VIP Cup game in either Manchester or Portland and a $100 VIP Parts, Tires and Service Gift Card.  The Grand Prize winner will be announced on Monday, July 30.

Fans were given the chance to enter the contest from Monday, June 25 until Friday, July 13 by downloading a template with the Monarchs, Pirates and VIP Parts, Tires & Service logos on it and design their own vision for the logo before submitting it to one of the teams.

Please note that the recreated logo may not be an exact replica of the winning submission, but will resemble and be inspired by it.
